politics everywhere!!

In our daily lives, we encounter the political games in almost all areas of life. Everywhere people seek their own benefits even while they show they are doing it for others. Be it any public or private department, there is a constant push and pull for power and financial gains, which results in mutual disharmony and dirty tactics which go against the health of the organization they are working for. We are so self possessed with our momentary pleasures of letting someone down, that we actually forget our sole aim of being there. Life is much beyond these filthy games.
Most of the times, we try to misuse resources at our disposal in such places, especially in public departments, and use them to any extent for our personal gains. How far is this behaviour correct? Those resources are meant for a specific purpose and they are provided even if they are scarce. But we, misillusioned by our greed for the free resources, ignore their utility and add to the corruption in our society, even though we blame the politicians for that. What right do we have to criticise others if we also commit the same faults? They seem to us looking for money and doing scams of crores. But what is the guarranty that someone among us, having the same opportunities, will not do anything of that sort, for the sake of the nation. Why are we not that proud of our nation's integrity and culture that we can think above these material pleasures? When our leaders took such difficult pains and bore every torture on them just for the sake of truth, why cant we take little bit of that to avoid something which has eaten the roots of our morals, which were ones the pride of our country. Our pains are much less than those suffered by our ancestors. Without these morals too, we are not living an easy life. People are most of the times facing depression and all sort of ailments. We are not much happy. If we take a bit of pain for the right cause, then what is the big deal about it? At least we will have a self satisfaction that we did something right.According to me, the old people genrally did not face all this depression even amidst poverty and tough living conditions because their souls were pure. They wanted a contented life with all the rightful things they have.
Even among relationships, people seek those ones where they have a ritual or a chance of earning money. At times people dont want to meet each other because everytime they have to give expensive gifts. Else, they have to bear some implicit taunts. Why cant these things come from a genuine wish to cheer up someone. Why it becomes an obligation and eventually a burden? These are some nuances given just to portray the real state of family politics. We dont cherish our relationships because of these instances where we feel there is no love and just money or power playing their role in our homes as to who can dominate whom.
Now the onus lies on us as to how we come out of this vicious cycle and develop harmony among each other on the basis of our good intentions. Most of us love the moments we spend in the marriages together, since we all are social by nature and we love spending time together. But the small incidents of this nature actually make it complicated and spoil our fun. Why cant we actually try to make these relationships sustainable and happier than usual by making them feel special and go beyond the rituals like who is above whom and who is entitled to getting money or a gift. All this is useless without an intention of seeking others benefit.
Thats what I think about all these complexities around me.

The world is really beautiful!!!

There are instances when we start thinking that world is very unfair and thankless. People are selfish and they can do anything to achieve their aims. Adding to it, what we read on the newspaper as to how all the relationships have lost their meaning, all the more creates a negative impression on us. But whatever I have perceived in my life, I think its just about our experiences with different people, or rather, which ones we remember.
Just try to remember how many times some stranger, completely unrelated to you has helped you when there was nobody around. Just think of incidences when your friends, for your wishes, sacrificed theirs just to bring a smile on your face. That sacrifice may not have been very big, but it was done to make you smile. Yes for sure, we lost a lot of relationships in the race of life, but made certain unknown ones just by seeing someone and exchanging smiles on the unknown paths almost regularly. May be that person does not help you somewhere, but he gave you a reason to smile amidst all tensions. Isnt that a big thing for a stranger to do?
It is not one sided. you have to give something to get another. but dont expect that for certain. It actually causes unhappiness, when we start expecting a lot from our relationships. just do something because you enjoyed it. and if you enjoyed , you got some returns there and then. Dont feel that u have not been reciprocated by the same. Just go in their shoes and try to think that what they did was actually a breach of trust or simply the heat of the moment. There are a lot more things in world which make it so beautiful. You have to extract happiness from nowhere in this life because you have this life just for once.

Search

In search of truth
In search of love
In search of excellence
In search of happiness,
I watch out for more in life.
Is there a god who loves all
the rich, the poor, the affluent, the deprived alike?
Is morality actually existent in this world
Along with a genuine concern for benefitting the mankind?
Is it stupid to stand in favor of someone
When the masses reject him outright?
Can we not appreciate someone
who believes in righteousness despite all plights?
Why life treats someone so unfairly,
Even if one 's intentions are right?
Why a person faces deception in spite of the fact
That love is his pride?
What is the real meaning of success?
Is it only to knock out others and stand upright
Or should we dig deeper into ourselves
And seek to cheer up others to gain delight?
It is time now to search our true
successes and debacles in life.
How far have we gone to prove that happiness is a goal
and not our birthright?
It is somewhere within our conscience
giving us all answers in life.
Its better to understand ourselves and be calm
And it will cause us to smile!!!!!!!

dedicated to my best friend

A sea of sentiments flows across me
A tumultous storm waves past me
As i think of you and sense you around,
A gentle stream of warmth breezes across me.
Isn't that an expression of my love for you?
The dearest thoughts imagined are a reminiscent of your memories
They make me feel nostalgic;
They make me feel alone;
But they make me smile too
So they are my own.
This is the reason why i love them too.
I miss you, love you,and can never forget you.
But apart from that,I really admire you.
Your idealism, your understanding,
Analytical, thinking and caring nature
Your attributes make you look a little angel
Whose good wishes will nurture my future.
Tell me how I can live without you?!!!
with love,
Pragya

looking into myself

When we go deeper into our ownself, we realise there is a lot more to ourselves than we actually know. At times, we behave in certain fashion which is not characteristic of ourself. This is actually some trait that we are not aware of. But our brain has thousand things working together.

When i think about myself, I have a lot to say, lot to experience and lot to understand about life and people around me. I think my USP is that I have been committed to whatever cause I take up and have tried to do fair justice to it. I will be the happiest person if at the end of my life, if
  • I dont feel something was left to be done.
  • I bring genuine smile on the face of at least one person daily
  • I dont use any unfair means to achieve whatever i will throughout.
  • I m close to my best friends and love them as dearly as i do now.
