Managing attitudes

This is something which is essential for us in the perspective of a manager as well as a good human being. What is the real problem in the performance of this function, is to be pondered upon.

When we meet anybody, most of the times,the person looks almost ordinary or just one among the crowds. But to look closely, we come to know multi faceted personality of the same person and that makes him stand apart from most of the faces we have seen till now. This is the beauty of the world that every individual has varied and diversified experiences and attitudes towards life. Each one is different. To see them and understand them all, it can take centuries. For sure, nobody has that much time. But it is mandatory to give a person the required space to show his/her potential in the best cpapabilities. The realization of full potential can overturn any institution they are working for possibly without any anticipation.

Any person can reveal a lot of insights about himself/herself, if one is made to feel important in his own capacity. Their thought process is given due respect and consideration. Everyone seeks a certain degree of self assurance and empathy. If one is given these in slight proportion, the person is likely to feel happy and humility rises to the point that one can reveal some very sensitive aspects before you. This helps us judge the humane qualities in that person. Moreover, the immense potetial ina person can be discovered and unravelled gradually, which can even surprise the person oneself.

Often this has been observed how the behavior of the same person changes immensely in the presence of two different people. It may happen because of the diplomacy practised but also due to the stimuli attained by the attitude and personality of those people and also as to how they are percieved by that person. this brings a drastic change in the perception of the protagonist.
Hence this has to be uunderstood that the behavior is guided by various stimuli which may be external as well as internal, acting at the same time and bringing significant influence on our day to day actions. but the same person, in different conditions may act entirely different. hence developing a preconceived notion in one or two meetings is not appropriate.

Hence, a person needs to be understood in depth empathetically. Life has different experiences and problems in store fro different people. it largely affects their attitude towards their surrounding events. people must be given time to recover and must be understood in their own way to acknowledge their goodness and explore the huge possibilities in them.
